The house is truly amazing! The views are stunning. It looks surreal when you’re in the infinity pool looking through the forest to the ocean. The house has everything you could need. Our family just got back from staying at Casa Playitas. What an amazing house and more importantly such great hosts and service. Jim and Lilly were so awesome at making sure our stay was incredible including helping us book activities and restaurants, getting groceries, and even taking one of our guests out for adventures. Unbelievable attention to our needs. Thank you!  Also, we would highly recommend their in-home chefs. Food was amazing and so convenient. The house is perfect - spacious, open, awesome pool, amazing view and easy access to a beautiful beach and other local shops/gym/restaurants. You will also see tons of monkeys (right up to the house), toucans, macaws, sloths, and additional  wildlife. We cannot recommend this house more!!  You definitely need to stay here!

You responded with grace to help us experience every little detail, every special moment, and savor every minute we had here. From food suggestions and sweet deliveries, to freshly laundered clothes, and very attentive shuttles to and from the beach or tours, you each have delivered on the promise of "pura vida." Our stay at Casa Playitas in Costa Rica this past April was nothing short of incredible. We traveled with another couple and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The villa itself was absolutely amazing — immaculate, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery we’ve ever experienced. The views alone were worth the trip, but what truly made it unforgettable was the wildlife all around us. We had a sloth living in the tree right outside our patio, saw toucans, iguanas, macaws, and monkeys running through the trees daily. The monkeys were wild and playful without ever feeling threatening, which made the whole experience feel surreal and magical. Jim and Liliana were phenomenal hosts. They helped arrange excursions for us, and thanks to their local relationships and connections, several of them ended up being private experiences. Every excursion was seamless and unforgettable, and honestly some of the best adventures we’ve ever had. The staff at the house were equally outstanding — warm, attentive, and genuinely wonderful people who made us feel completely taken care of throughout our stay. One of the funniest realizations we had was that we packed way too many clothes because they offered daily laundry service. We honestly could have lived there comfortably for 10 days with just three outfits. There truly was not a bad moment during our stay. Between the luxury of the villa, the incredible service, the wildlife, the excursions, and the beauty of Costa Rica, Casa Playitas gave us memories we’ll talk about for the rest of our lives. All I can say is WOW! What an amazing trip! Our stay at Casa Playitas in Costa Rica was truly the trip of a lifetime. The villa was absolutely beautiful, with an incredible infinity pool overlooking the ocean and breathtaking views every day. The staff made everything feel effortless — from daily housekeeping and laundry service to the amazing chef who prepared dinner for us one of the nights! James and Liliana went above and beyond by helping us arrange excursions like ziplining and a dinner cruise, and they also recommended fantastic local restaurants and places to explore. Our family of 10 including two grandparents for adult children and four children ages 10 to 14 had an absolutely amazing time this spring break. The house is absolutely beautiful with stunning views all around. It was filled with anything one could need for a week in this beautiful country. We can’t say enough about the hospitality and service offered by the owners James and Liliana. They were in touch with us every single day, helping to organize our activities and check to make sure that everything went according to plan. At their We engaged the services of wow chefs, and Jose and Jordimade every meal that they cooked for us a fun filled and delicious event. We can’t recommend this villa.  highly enough. We just returned from a wonderful week-long stay at Casa Playitas, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The house itself is incredible—it had absolutely everything we could possibly need for a comfortable, stress-free stay, and the stunning views were just breathtaking to wake up to every morning. Our host, James, was absolutely outstanding. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of and catered to every single one of our needs. A major highlight of our trip was hiring chefs Jordi and Jose from Wow Chefs. Their meals were spectacular and truly elevated the entire vacation experience. Beyond the amazing house and top-tier service, the surrounding nature makes this property truly special. We had lots of amazing wildlife visit the house daily, and we spent hours just watching monkeys, toucans, and iguanas right from the comfort of our private pool. Casa Playitas is absolutely amazing. Our hosts were awesome. The house and grounds are beautiful. There were 7 of us on site with room to spare. The surrounding area restaurants were fun with good food and great atmosphere. The beach was close and inviting. We did a couple of day trips that were also adventurous. Perfect combination of ocean view and jungle wildlife vacation destination.  Pictures don’t do it justice.  The house was extremely clean.  The staff was friendly and helpful. James helped coordinate a chef who prepared several meals.  We had 2 families staying in the house together and everyone had plenty of space to spread out. My friends and I have stayed at some very nice homes in Costa Rica Rica. I have to say that Casa Playitas has been the best yet a beautifully designed home with everything thing we needed or could have wanted. we had the opportunity to meet the owner who made sure our stay had everything we wanted. Jim  made us all feel very welcome. I’m sure are next fishing adventure in CR will include this beautiful location.
